Sachin and Jadeja give India lead series 2-1 against Srilanka
242/3 India's reply to the srilankans innings 239/10. After the indian skipper virender sehwag fired 44 from just 28 balls, the little master Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar's unbeaten 96 took india to a victory and lead the series 2-1 in the five match series.. Srilanka top order batsmens dominated the beginning stage of the match at 165-1 from 22 overs but they fail to score a big total.. The combination of Ravindera jadeja and two wickets in two balls from Ishant sharma collapsed the srilankan's middle order.. Srilanka lost the remaining nine wickets in just 74 runs and their innings end at 239 and India easily past the score with 44 balls remaining...
Indian innings started with a maiden over bowled by welegedra.. Tendulkar played a cover drive for four in kulasekra's ball to start his count.. when sehwag turns came he took kulasekra for three fours in an over, he repeated the same style with Lasith malinga too.. Then sehwag smashed three fours in welegedra over before dishan held an attempt the shot to over point.. After sehwag's exit runrate eased temporarily.. Little master Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar reach his yet another half century in the third match against Srilanka in the five match series.. Hope India will win the series.. All the best for team INDIA..
