And Pieterson also joins the party with some wonderful batting... Now if we came back to 2009 Ashes both teams are now equally well equipped in terms of batting and bowling... But it is England who will miss the trump card if Flintoff dint make the playing Eleven... Australia has a good batting side in the paper.. But how they manage to get used to the conditions and the reverse swing will be the crucial point... Their bowling attack is led by Mitchell Johnson who is bowling well for the last one year... And they are short of a quality spinner. Nathan Hauritz is not a quality spinner.. He is more of a batter than bowler.... His batting is good than his bowling... England has a quality spinners in Monty and Swann.... Swann troubled Indian batsmen in India during the recent test matches... He will definitely trouble the Aussies with his variations and spin.... But England batting is completely out of sorts now... If Cook, Strauss and Pieterson fails the whole Englishmen will fall without a fight... But it is their bowling which is giving England a upper hand... Dinesh Karthick's Third Entry into the International Arena
Dinesh Karthick came into the international arena much before Dhoni came... He hold on to his place for some time till Dhoni emerge as an aggresive batsman... Karthick lost his place due to his poor batting form. He got most opportunities than anyother tamilnadu player but he wasted most of his chances... He played a crucial hand in the test series victory in England and in the test victory in the Johannesburg.. And ironically this is the first victory over SA in SA for India... But Karthick has a second chance in Indian Outfit in World T20 in 2007.. But he is in the team then as a specialist batsman.. He is given a number of chances in the world t20... But karthick wasted it against the pakistan and south africa... But he will be remember in the coming years for the stunning catch he took in the match against SA for Smith............ Then karthick again lost the place in the team... Karthick third entry was mainly due to IPL... He single handedly fought many matches for his team Delhi and even won many of it... He now got a chance to play in Indian outfit mainly due to Sehwag's injury and Sachin's absence and Raina's injury.. He made the most of it when the opportunity knocks the door... He made a workmanlike 67 in the first odi against WI... Why his knock goes unnoticed mainly was due to the brilliant 131 by Yuvi.. Otherwise the star of the day will be none other than Dinesh Karthick... Hope he will continue his good form for the rest of the tournament as well.........

Yuvi is in rich vein of form during the Word Cup T20s both in 2007 and 2009. But sadly others of our team is not in good nick to support him.. 2007 WT20 Final India Vs Pakistan in SA

But it was then gambhir and rohit did the job for India taking India score past 150. India scored 157/5 in their allotted 20 overs. After gilly blasted RP for two sixes sree bowled with a wonderful yorker... Then Hodge joined Hayden in the middle... Hodge hit a six before he perishes to Pathan... Den came the very very danger Symonds.. At the way hayden an Symmonds take the game away from us i thought we will not play in final.. but pathan delivers the crucial blow to India by taking symmonds wicket.... 2007 World T20 Cup in South Africa III (Ind Vs Aus) Ind batting
Pakistan crushed Newzealand in the first semis and became the first team to enter the finals of the world t20... Den came the second an important semifinal match... India Vs Australia.... Mahi won the toss and choose to bat first against the aussies... Viru and gauti opened the innings... Aussies keep them silently till 4th over... Then Viru break the shackles with a four of mitchell johnson and then got out immediately to him... Den gauti got out soon with a wonderful catch by Hodge... Uthappa and Yuvi joined in d middle... Yuvi missed the last match against SA due to a injury... So he wants to make up for missing the crucial game... Yuvi opened the innings with a six off Stuart clark.. By 10 overs India reached 60/2... But after that all power and strength from yuvi an uthappa in clearing the boundaries... And they did it with ease... Yuvi masterminded the innings with another half century from just 20 balls... robin den run out from a brilliant throw from symonds..... Den mahi an yuvi batted brilliantly and take India past the 160 mark which is above par score in t20 standards... But 160 is not enough for hayden and symonds and gilly alone... so yuvi carried his bat till 18th over which is crucial for Team India and he got out scoring 70 from just just 30 balls.... In Durban (yuvi's fav hunting ground in World T20 and Ipl where he took a hattrick) his strike rate is above 250.76.... India finished off the match with 188/5 in their full quota of overs....

2007 World T20 Cup In South Africa II
Our last super eight match in 2007 WT20 was against one of the formidable teams in our group South Africa... After our batting got over we scored a mere 151/5 which is below par score when compared to t20 standards... But the fact that SA need to score 126 to reach the semis was unknown to me.... After the match only i got to know that... But the way the indian bowlers rattled SA batsmen was amazing... Particularly RP singh... What a bowler he is when he is in full flow... His bowling cards showing 4-0-13-4... 13/4 is the best bowling effort for Indians in t20 till now... Karthick took a blinder i'll say... wat a catch to remove smith... then morkel an boucher tried their best to move their team past the 126 mark... but harbhajan bowled well in the death and contained them to 116 and eventually SA knocked out of the tournament... Undefeated till the last match and one loss and out of the tournament (not a knock out game too)..... Bad luck for SA in world cup continues........... By the way i forget to tell about the Rohit heroics with the bat against SA... 3 wickets down and came into the middle this bloke carried his bat till the end of the innings, and finished of the match with a six of van der wath (SA all rounder) to reach his fifty..... Nice attractive an powerful strokes made this bloke to watch without blinking.... like most batsmen in the world rohit is also a strong legside player... anythin short he will pull u into the deep midwicket stands..... thats his strength.......rohit is now opening the innings for India in 2009 wt20...(due to sehwag's injury)....

T20 World cup 2007 in South Africa
I dint know that t20 world cup 2007 is going on till i got the news that india an pakistan match ended in a tie and ofcourse India won the bowlout and the match... Den i showed some interest in the world cup... Some unknown names like rohit sharma an joginder sharma is der in the squad... More over my cable operator dint give us the channel in which the world cup is telecasted... so i got to know all the details via tv news only... I saw the india vs nz super eight match in my friend's home.. it gives me all the thrills an fun... more than 370 runs in just 40 overs man.... but it would be better had India won the match.... But mcmillan took the match away from us with his lusty blows towards the end.... India lost the match by 10 runs in the end... Den the all important match against our fav opponents ie England.... Had freddie not upset Yuvi the match would have gone in England's pocket.... Thanks freddie... Six Sixes in an over man... amazing to watch... but bad luck for me.. i'm not able to watch the match live on tv...... but i followed the match live on tv... while seeing the scorecard increased by six runs in each balls i am amazed...Has India got super power..?? anyway india won by 19 runs in the end... This match highlights i saw it 1000 times on internet...thanks to youtube..."
